happy cny !

happy chinese new year everyone. wow, its been ages seen ive blogged. Sorry about that as now im going to update my blog. Im currently working now at O.I.S.B Engineering at Industrial Area for almost a month already in another few dayss. work is fine for me, at least i have a job. Happy thing is that after getting this job, I had two more offers from big cos. too! but too bad i have a job already. Nevermind we'll try again next time. As my every single day routine is to wake up at 7am .. off to work at 740am than reach office on the pc, boil water, check mails and any po, or enquiries to be print out for following up after days.. sadly waiting for 12pm when ive got nothing much to do and wait for 5 pm too!! Like what im waiting for now. I'm so sleepy at the moment. The past few days was like ohmy. hahaha visiting for afternoon till 2 - 3 am in da morning. gamble gamble gamble black jack only..

nyways, i've realized few days ago that there are so many people in life living in denial now ? issit true ? issit good to be in denial ? can anyone answer me this questions ? hehe m jst u know feel weird about it. If your in that situation why dont you just face it and tell yesh im in it or just tell the truth straight in front of the person eyes or face. It's no harm to tell the truth or face it or not to be in denial. Why make yourself suffer.. ? ppl living in denial will end up having nothing if they tend to play around or something. wEirdos* make me feel SICK! about it. very darn sickening.. but oh wells, its none of my business so i'll jst leave it that way.

Ive been reading newspaper since 9 am jst now. and i came across one artical about peer pressuer : pros and cons side. I've found beautiful paragraphs being written by Zowy Costa on Borneo Bulletin. Like for example : Peer pressure is not all bad ; in fact sometimes we do have to "follow the crowd". The trick is to learn to tell the difference between following the crowd and blindly following the crowd.
and this statement is so thru, it all actually depends whether which to follow. play with our mindset ; be SMART.

another part is that have the strength to say no. Saying no is not as easy as one thinks. - thats true. When you are trying to violate the "rules", you will bear the risk of being left out, and it takes a lot of courage to go against that. But it's worthwhile, because it gives you great satisfaction and an important step towards independence and being responsible for your own actions. Another way to reject others but to avoid breaking up your friendship is to "go away but leave the door open". When your peers are pushing you to do something that you dont want to, tell them the consequences and suggest another activity. If they reject your suggestion, just walk away, but leave the choice open. Pay attention to your own feelings and beliefs. Be confident in your own positive beliefs. Hang out with someone that shares common beliefs and interests. Walk away from harmful and negative peer pressure. Although it is hard to walk away, it is not impossible to do so.

To me, one of the most unacceptable consequences is losing the "genuine self". To remain cool, we have to mask our own identity and forget what really brings us joy. We change our interests and behaviour just for the sake of fitting in. So just be yourself. Stay STRONG and RESIST any negative influence. Always go what you know is right and appropriate. Remember, good friends respect your wishes and your individuality. Stand up for what you believe in and you will respect yourself more too.

I do actually agree on those i've typed out just now. So just wanna share a bit to you all. Hehe.. nyways, still CNY mooddiee hope to go visiting later. gotta go work now.. will blog again soon ! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ALL CHINESE =D
